This site is an expansion of an earlier JSTOR Labs project, that shows a list of journal articles, line-by-line, alongside the work of literature that the articles cited.

The concept for the project was complete when I joined, but there were new considerations to design for, such as how to handle hundreds of works of literature instead of the existing 40 and how to make a mobile version of an interface that was built on a side-by-side display model. I created Sketch mockups and Axure prototypes, for use in team discussions and user testing. I created assets like logos and marketing materials, and curated and cropped a collection of art to represent each piece of literature. To save developer time, I added JSON-LD metadata for the art, and checked that metadata and the art images themselves into the project’s GitHub repository.
